Charge at home. Every night.

Level 2 EV charger installation across the Denver metro by a Tesla Certified Installer — Tesla Wall Connector and universal J1772/NACS units. We run a panel-capacity check and load calculation before quoting, then install a dedicated 240V circuit for garage or weather-rated exterior mounting. The municipal permit, inspection, and load-management setup for multi-EV homes are handled under one electrical scope.

EV Charger Install — Level 2

Circuit to charge

EV Charger Scope

Every charger install starts at the panel. We run a load calculation before any quote to see whether your existing service can carry a new 240V circuit, whether a 200A upgrade is actually needed, or whether load management solves the demand. Then we pull a dedicated 240V circuit to a garage or weather-rated exterior mount, install the Tesla Wall Connector or universal J1772/NACS unit, handle the municipal permit and inspection, and set up load management for homes charging multiple EVs.

  • Level 2 charger installation (240V, 40-60A)
  • Dedicated circuit from electrical panel
  • NEMA 14-50 outlet or hardwired unit
  • Panel upgrade if needed (200A)
  • Load management for multi-EV homes
  • Xcel Energy EV rate enrollment support
  • Tesla Wall Connector and universal J1772/NACS units — hardware matched to your vehicle, installed by a Tesla Certified Installer
  • Weather-rated exterior mounting — conduit, enclosure, and hardware rated for Colorado sun, snow, and freeze-thaw cycles

FAQ

Common questions

Do I need a panel upgrade for a Level 2 charger?

Often no. We run a load calculation on your existing panel before quoting. If your service has headroom, a dedicated 240V circuit fits without an upgrade. If the load is tight, load management can delay or avoid a 200A upgrade; we only recommend an upgrade when the math actually requires it.

Should I choose the Tesla Wall Connector or a universal charger?

The Tesla Wall Connector is the cleanest fit for Tesla vehicles and is installed by our Tesla Certified Installer. Universal J1772 or NACS units suit households with mixed EV brands or drivers who want one charger for future vehicles. We match the hardware to what you drive now and expect to drive next.

Can you install a charger outside?

Yes. We mount chargers on garage interiors or weather-rated exterior locations, with conduit, enclosures, and hardware rated for Colorado sun, snow, and freeze-thaw. The install is permitted and inspected like any permanent electrical addition.

Do EV charger installs require a permit?

Yes — a Level 2 charger adds a dedicated 240V circuit, which requires a municipal electrical permit and inspection. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection as part of the project.

What if my household has more than one EV?

We plan for total charging load from the start. Load management shares the available capacity between vehicles, charges when demand is low, and keeps most homes off a costly panel upgrade. We size the circuit and settings for your current and expected fleet.
