Wall box to every room

What we wire

Your provider's line ends at its box on the wall. We start there — one crew for the fiber modem move, the Cat6 runs, and the closet that ties them together.

  • Move your fiber modem to your network closet
  • 6-strand fiber from the wall to the closet (spare strands for later)
  • Cat6 / Cat6A to offices, TVs, and mesh points
  • Network closet or small rack
  • Fiber or Ethernet to a garage, ADU, or shop
  • Every run tested

Named gear

What we install

  • Cleerline SSF™ singlemode fiber and SC/APC connectors
  • Cleerline fiber enclosures
  • Cat6 / Cat6A cable, keystones, and patch panels

Scope first

Before we come out

Send photos of where the fiber comes in and where you want the network — the chat on this page takes photos, or reply to our first message with them. We confirm the price before anything is scheduled.

FAQ

Common questions

How much does Structured Cabling — Cat6 Data Drops (Per Drop) cost?

$199 each · $169 each for 4–9 · $139 each for 10+ · $129 minimum visit.

How do I book?

Press Book next to the job, pick a date and a morning (8–12) or afternoon (12–4) window, and pay the $100 deposit. We confirm within 24 hours or refund you in full.

What's not included?

Finished multi-story fishes with no access, exterior conduit, and drywall repair are not included.

Do I need new wiring for gig fiber?

Not always. Sound Cat5e carries a 1-gig plan. Multi-gig plans need Cat6 or Cat6A, and most homes are short on wire where it counts: one router in the wrong room, nothing run to the office or the far bedroom. Cat6 to the rooms that matter is what puts the speed you pay for where you use it.

Can you move the fiber modem?

Yes. Your provider’s line ends at its box on the wall, and we start there: we extend fiber from that box to your network closet and set the modem where your home’s wiring begins. The outside line and the provider’s own equipment stay untouched.

What about Wi-Fi in the far rooms?

We wire mesh points over Cat6 instead of asking them to reach the router over the air. A wired backhaul gives each mesh point a full-speed link back to the router, so it no longer shares its Wi-Fi with that hop. That is what fixes the far bedroom, the basement, or the garage office.

How is it priced?

Cat6 runs are priced per drop on a published ladder — the bookable job on this page shows today’s per-drop price and books online. Moving the fiber modem has no flat price yet: send photos of where the fiber comes in and where you want the network, and we confirm the number before anything is scheduled.
